   This unit is a high quality unit. I am very pleased as to how well it is made. It does everything that I expected of it and more. I don’t need a radio or a compressor but it is there and it works well. I probably will order a higher wattage unit from Wagan which does not have all the frills.

   This compact and portable power supply & air compressor is ideal for home use! There are many applications this item can be used for! I would buy another one just to have around. They are very affordable.

   This is a fantastic unit and the price is on par with other brand units.

   Pros:
   
   It has a charge indicator, FM/AM radio with aux. audio input jack as well as a USB power supply port for those suckers who own an IPOD, the LED light is bright enough, the presence of an air compressor is a plus and the hose is a decent length but doesn’t appear so at first glance, 2 AC outlets as well as 1 DC outlet should provide ample space to plug in anything, and of course the jump cables for car starting which, like the air hose, is longer than it appears in the picture (about 2.5 feet)

   The reason I gave it only 4 stars:
   
   the power switch for the AC outlets on mine is a 2 stage switch, meaning it has off, 1, and 2 settings. The 1 does nothing and the 2 powers the outlets. Based upon the pictures, it is clear that a simple ON/OFF switch was meant to be there and probably is in most units but for whatever reason, mine has a different one (no biggie). The air compressor works fine but I have a problem with the fact the dial goes to 260psi. Who is pumping that much air into something? Because of that, I need to look closely when I am filling tires because the distance from 0-35/40 is very small. The tips for the air hose come loose so they will get tossed or lost easily. Lastly, the speaker for the radio is not the greatest, it would have been nice to have a built-in amp and an audio out but i guess this thing can only do so much.

   Overall, it is a great buy and should do the job well for most people.

   I have owned this a few weeks and have had to use it for 5 jumps and inflated 4 tires without it even going down below 13 volts Its great to have, you don’t have to drag out those long cables and use another car to get a jump, and it started it right up. It will come in handy for storms also– I love It

   I looked into many similar units and this had more features than all I compared and was the lowest price! I got the unit about a week ago. Haven’t tried jumping a car yet but I mostly bought it to run a Fender Music system in the “field” I was surprised it did power it all up and I even hooked up a full home music system to it and it did not blow the fuse, although I kept the volume moderate and not sure how long it would run, but my bigger plan would be to hook up the jumpers to another large battery with the jumper cables and rely on the units 400 watt AC converter.

   I was surprised (but should have known better), this unit does not encase a “full” size battery. I know this mostly from the light weight. I presume it has a small 12v “motorcycle” battery inside and would probably not run heavy AC loads for long (that is why my plan to cable up to a full size battery).

   I also like that it has AC and DC charging ability. I have it in my van full-time and hooked into my auxiliary cig lighter (conveniently located in the rear of my van) so that it will always be “good to go!”

   No regrets, especially for the price, heck a stand-alone 400 watt power inverter would cost almost that much by itself!!

   This is a great piece of gear to have in your vehicle. I leave it in the back of the truck and it’s always being charged by the cigarette lighter when the truck is on the road. I’ve used the 12V power output, and the inverter for AC power a few times. As a test, I ran a 17″ macbook pro for 1.5 hours!!! It has an AM/FM radio with an ipod input and a USB charger too. The USB charger can run other USB devices like fans, a light, etc… The speaker is not great, but it’s good enough to listen to podcasts while working around the garage. The compressor just came in handy for a tire that was low on my wife’s car. I haven’t used the jumper cables yet, but I’m sure if someone asks me for a jump start and I pull this thing out, they will be buying one of these units of of Amazon the next morning. The Amazon price was $106 US delivered. At that price, I think everyone should have one of these in their car and maybe another one in their garage. The compressor comes with a “pin” for blowing up basketballs or footballs. I added a package of 15amp fuses in the compartment where the air hose lives for backups to the built in fuse in the unit. The unit also has an LED worklight that could come in handy in a pinch. My only wish for this item would be that if it had a small lid on the top that allowed access to a tool area for screw drivers or pliers, fuses, spare keys, etc…

   We purchased this unit specifically because we own a Lexus RX 400h, which we love, and the battery in the car goes dead if we go away for 3 or 4 weeks, which we do twice a year at the least. We haven’t had to use it yet, but we are confident it will do the job. We inspected it when it arrived, reviewed all the additional features it has for other situations, charged it up, and liked it a lot. We don’t need it if the car is left at home, but we would need it if we left the car in an airport parking lot. We actually don’t know exactly how many days the car’s battery is good for, but this unit will be kept in the car. Lexus has a PLUG IN unit they can install for long idle situations, but that would not have resolved the airport parking lot problem. We are very comfortable now knowing that we would not have to call roadside assistance. We would never have imagined this problem prior to owning a hybrid and of course, the fact is that we must be unusual hybrid owners, as the dealership had not encountered this problem.

   I gave this item to my husband for Father’s Day. He likes it because it is compact and has so many features all in one device. He was surprised at how fast the compressor filled a tire. The battery also easily jumpstarted his jeep.

   Received two of these. One for each vehicle. One would not charge right out of the box. Called Amazon expecting a fight. I was wrong, a new one was sent immediately at no additional charge and no need to return the defective unit.

   Have used both units to inflate bike tires, balls and to power 12VDC items. Unit works exactly as advertised. Do not use it to inflate an air mattress. It’s not designed for that type of work – ask me how I know

   This will be the standard gift to relatives, especially those living in the North where a dead car battery makes for a really bad day.
