Honda EU1000i

A Honda EU1000i review is only complete if you include the most talked about comment which is that this portable gas generator is certainly one of the quiet portable generators made. Producing a tested 59db of sound at 7 meters and running at a full load. The Honda EU1000i at this range is a home portable generator producing less noise than common human speech.

People like the Honda EU1000i for its portability weighing in at a very manageable 29 pounds with a 1.8HP single cylinder Honda over head valve engine. Some customers do not like the .6 gallon fuel tank as it may hinder use on larger jobs but it also can run up to 8.3 hours at one quarter load with the Eco-throttle engaged. The Eco-throttle system utilizes technology that produces engine RPMs as needed for the load. If the load is greater the RPMs increase. This is a great gas saving feature.

If you are looking for a camper portable generator or a RV portable generator then the EU1000i may be just what you need if you take along a laptop computer or other sensitive electronic device.
